TIMELINE

In 1962, Josep Maria Sedó Vallvé rented an ordinary shed in São Paulo. At that time, the resin that was only used as a component for the manufacture of fiberglass products, was put in focus by J. Vallvé. As a magician, he begins his alchemy by mixing resin with metal, wood and acrylic, acrylic, and metal. The aesthetics of the material begins to be explored far beyond technical performance. The resources were practically nonexistent. Through an empirical method J. Vallvé begins to develop his own methodology. He creates his own sanders, lathes, machining and finishing machines, as well as all resin processing technology.

Origin

The Vallvé family was born in the Priorato region in Catalonia - Spain. With Europe destroyed in the post-war period, the Catalan Josep Maria Sedó Vallvé, decides to conquer new worlds and becomes an immigrant in our country. In the photo with Dona Carmen, lifelong companion, and partner.

With the opening of the first store in São Paulo, "Cristal Banho", J. Vallvé brings the bathing area into focus. A visionary, he presents his handmade pieces to the market, with an innovative design in dazzling colors, and becomes a pioneer and forerunner in the concept of a Bath Boutique in our country.

90's

Vallvé achieves leadership in the Brazilian market of luxury bathroom accessories. Pedro Sedó, J. Vallvé's son, takes over the management of the company. In full national expansion and present in several states, the factory moved to a larger area in Greater São Paulo.

2000's

Vallvé is established as the best company in the sector, receiving, since 2003, the Top of Mind-Casa Mercado award, in the "Bathroom Boutique" segment. The GLOSS Line is launched in 2002 and has become one of the biggest successes in the brand's history.

2010's

Vallvé, already present in important regions in Brazil and abroad, launches the "Vallvé in Shop" expansion plan and, with that, expands its distribution in a solid way, through successful partnerships.

With a 60-year tradition, we build history. Until the present day, we cultivate the 100% artisanal, humanized, and ethical production process. We believe that the new luxury presents itself in the form of a lifestyle, in which the disposable gives way to the perennial, in which the object gives way to affection. This is our mission!
